Royal patronage of HTVF to continue

The Historic Towns and Villages Forum is very pleased to announce that His Majesty King Charles will be continuing his patronage of the organisation, as part of his long-standing support for the built and natural environment.

This confirmation comes after a review of Royal patronages, with the announcements being made to mark the first anniversary of the King’s coronation.

Steven Bee, Chair of the Forum, said “We are delighted that His Majesty has extended his patronage of the Forum for a further period. The Historic Towns and Villages Forum has a sound and established reputation for working with and providing services to those responsible and concerned for our historic places, and their communities. This continued Royal support will reinforce our efforts to engage a wider audience and promote consensus on how to adapt historic settlements to changing circumstances without compromising their heritage value”.
